Support
Child and spousal support, set fairly or changed
Support is arithmetic with a human cost. We run the numbers the court uses, show you the range, and write an agreement or a request to match.
Whether you are asking, paying or answering, you see the calculation on your own screen before anything is filed.

Starting points
Three ways support comes up
Each has its own forms. We tell you which one you are in on the first call.
- 01
Setting support for the first time
At separation or divorce, when no order exists yet.
- 02
Changing an order
After a job loss, a raise, a new baby or a change in the schedule.
- 03
Answering a request
When the other side has asked to raise, lower or enforce support.
Common questions about support
How does the court decide the amount?
Courts use a formula built from both parents' income and the time each child spends in each home. We run it for you and explain each input.
Can support change after an order?
Yes, when circumstances change in a lasting way. In many courts a change counts only from the date it is requested, so it helps to ask early.
What if the other parent doesn't pay?
There are tools to enforce an order. We explain which ones apply and what each costs before you choose.
Bring us the numbers
Pay stubs, tax returns and a rough schedule are enough for the first call.
