Court filing fees, process servers and any mediator are paid directly to the court or the provider. They are never part of our fee, and we tell you each amount before it is due.
How payment works
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. We split the fee into two or three payments tied to steps in the case, never to a calendar date.
What if the case becomes contested?
We stop, explain what changed and quote the next step before doing more work. You decide whether to go on.
Is the consultation fee credited?
Yes, in full, if you hire us within 30 days. A 30-minute video consultation has a set fee, quoted when you book.
Do you ever charge by the hour?
Only for a contested matter that can't be priced in steps, and only with a written estimate and a cap you approve first.
